Cannes (FRA): 10km – 10km world lead

Uganda’s World and Olympic Champion, Joshua CHEPTEGEI, just set a new 10km world lead in the streets of Cannes. 

This Sunday, Joshua CHEPTEGEI, established a new 5km road world lead of 26:49, making it the fastest 10km ever performed on the French soil. The NN Running Team’s superstar opened his 2022 season with a bang! 

Finishing second and third were Habtom SAMUEL (ERI) and Abel SIKOWO (UGA) with the times of 27:51 and 27:58.

Le champion du monde et olympique ougandais, Joshua CHEPTEGEI, vient d’établir la meilleure performance mondiale de l’année du 10km dans les rues de Cannes. 

Ce dimanche, Joshua CHEPTEGEI, a réalisé la meilleure performance mondiale de l’année sur 10km dans un temps de 26 :49, ce qui en fait le 10km le plus rapide jamais réalisé sur le sol français. La superstar de NN Running Team a ouvert sa saison 2022 en beauté ! 

Habtom SAMUEL (ERI) et Abel SIKOWO (UGA) ont terminé deuxième et troisième dans les temps de 27:51 et 27:58.
